Got a Neubau book for christmas, such a good book. Thought it was going to be a geeky graphic design book but it was really good. I thought it would really help with my pattern ideas for my book. Neubau has done two books one with loads of vector images that you can use license free and another with patterns again license free. They are really useful digital patterns along with some 'analogue' patterns as they are called. It gave me the idea to maybe make a pattern book for myself that I can use later in my design life be it commercial or just for my personal use. So I'm thinking a source book of my favorite patterns and then another book of some illustrations using the patterns.
